Android as Windows wireless display

In order to extend Windows' display using an Samsung Android device, you can use SmartView.

  1. Open SmartView

  2. Click on the three dots to go to the "Settings"

  3. At the Settings page, click on "About Smart View"

  4. Click several times at the big "Smart View" title until a "Enter password" prompt appears.

  5. Now I just don't remember which password to use, but you can try one of the following:

    • #00sv00
    • #00rstp00
  6. Then you'll be redirected to the "SmartView developer option" page, select "Start Second Screen" option

  7. At the "Connection mode", select "Video (smoother playback)" option, keep this page opened.

  8. Now you should go to the computer, press "Win + K" and then select the mobile device you're using.

  9. Et Voilà! Enjoy your second (or maybe third) screen.

Extra

make sure to tick the "Allow mouse, keyboard, and other input from this device" option. It's self-explainatory.

Also, don't forget to adjust the monitor position.
